Spatial Solutions Inc. was originated by a group of GIS professionals with a background in the production of topological analysis software.
We built a number of products that are extensions for the most popular GIS workstation ArcView, and its latest release ArcGis.
The original corporate entrance into eCommerce in 1977 (www.spatial-online.com) was to provide a sales conduit for the original three products
(SSIArcPoly, SSIArcPolyBuild and SSIArcPolyClean).
It was determined at that time that the site would sell not only our own products, but also other products that would appeal to the same marketplace.
The business unit remains profitable and retains staff to maintain and expand these products.
Topology Cleaning and Building Tools for ArcView and ArcGis:
- SSIArcPolyClean
Based on user supplied tolerances, cleans ArcView lines by resolving undershoots, overshoots and snap-back polygons.

- SSIArcPolyBuild
Produces ArcView polygons from lines and points.

- SSIArcPoly
Does both at once. Cleans ArcView lines, resolving undershoots, overshoots and snap-back polygons, and produces polygon coverages.

- SSIArcPolyTopo
Does both at once. Cleans ArcView lines, resolving undershoots, overshoots and snap-back polygons, and produces polygon coverages and line coverages with Left and Right Polygon.

Point and Line Overlay for ArcView:
- PointPoly
Determines which polygon each point
is in. Attributes of the polygon are transferred to the point database.

- LinePoly
Determines which polygon(s) each line
is in. Attributes of the polygon and/or the length of the overlap are transferred to the line
database for as many of the overlapping polygons as you request.

- OverlapPoly
Determines all polygon overlaps with points or
lines and builds a table linking them.

Weeding Software for ArcView:
- SSIArcWeed
Weeds redundant coordinates from arcs.

FREE Utilities for ArcView:
- Register
Provides access to the Registry from ArcView.

Spatial Transformation Products for ArcView:
- RegisterImage
Enables the user to register a tiff image in ArcView. The image is not modified, but the World File is defined and/or set to place the image as precisely as possible in ArcView. This allows shifting and scaling independently in the X and Y directions.

- StretchImage
Enables the user to stretch a tiff image in ArcView. The transformation is a first order polynomial transformation, which will provide for rotation and other varieties of transformations. A new tiff image is produced and the World File is defined or set to place the image as precisely as possible in ArcView.

- WarpImage
Enables the user to warp a tiff image in ArcView. The transformation can be up to a tenth order polynomial transformation. A new tiff image is produced and the World File is defined or set to place the image as precisely as possible in ArcView.

- nOrderTransform
Enables the user to transform ArcView shape files by a polynomial transformation of up to the tenth order. This not only allows shifting, scaling and rotating, but can be as complex as a 10 order polynomial.
